It was a Very Merry Christmas at the Bolyard house....
Chelsea got a Ski Trip to Colorado during Spring Break , Tori finally got a cell phone, Santa brought Weston a Kettle car and much more, Gary wanted Satalite Radio and he got it and I finally got my Coach purse from Gary and a Dooney & Burke Purse from my Mom. Everyone got just about everything on their list and we had a fun and peaceful day. Here are a few photos to capture the day with my beautiful family....make sure to check out my Photo Album on this Blog to see more great photos of Christmas 2005.
I have also added a couple of pages from My Christmas Journal which as been great fun for me this holiday season. I only have 21 - 25 and I will be up to date.
Christmas Journal pages 17 and 18....Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!!!
Well, lets see, I am way behind on my Christmas Journal pages but all my Christmas shopping is done and Wrapped as of One Hour Ago and I finished the grocery shopping. That feels good. I like to have it all done by Christmas Eve and once again I did it. I still have several things on my to do list though...laundry, clean up my room, bake banana bread, cookies and make my Make Ahead Mash Potatoes. My mom and I will deal with the rest of cooking Christmas dinner on Christmas. Chelsea offered this year to make the Green Bean Casserole. We will take all the help in the kitchen we can get.
Well if I am going to get my Christmas Journal pages done I need to get off this computer. Have a Happy Holiday and Check to tomorrow for my journal pages. I hope at least to finish two.
Day seven of my Christmas Journal...I had fun with this one. I used Christmas wrapping paper, a receipt from my shopping on that day and embellishments from my scrapbook stash. The long list contains all the things I like about Christmas Shopping and things I am not that fond of. Hidden on the first page is my list of gifts I am planning to buy and hidden so no one can see. I love the collage look of this page and that I could be messy and whimsical. I used ink around the edges and MM stamps. I am enjoying this journal. I look forward to the new prompt each day. Although a couple of my entries I am not crazy about...I am trying to have each page look different from the next. This way I can try different techniques that I would not normally do. My favorite so far was entry #2, #4 and #7...I hated my #6 so I did not post it. LOL!!!! A little note about each journal entry...every page has the date stamped or placed with emblishments and every entry has a snowflake brad on the page. Merry Christmas and have a happy day!
Gary and I had the pleasure of hearing Chelsea Sing last night at her Christmas performance. It was wonderful hearing all the Christmas Music. Had to share these Photos from the evenings event.
I am working on my Christmas Journal Enty #5...Should I say thinking about what I would like to do. I have written my journal entry and I will be working on the page later. Will post it here when it is complete.
My ideal Christmas...entry #4. I am so enjoying this Christmas Journal. I am trying to stay positive, I am more motivied and I am actually getting some scrapbooking done. I look forward everyday to the prompt for the next Entry.
