Online shopping....

I am getting excited for holiday shopping and gift giving...been surfing the net for cool Chritmas gift ideas...came across these at HomeSTudio at etsy.com....just love them.  I have already purchased a half dozen to give away to friends and family for Christmas...head over and check them out...they are so cool and adorable....and they are priced just right!!!!

spring break recap....

Here are some photos from a spring break mini vacation that I promised to share....I was having technical difficulties with my keyboard and was not able to type the letter "T", or backspace or use the cap lock...I had to go out and buy a new keyboard....so that will explain my delay in posting on the blog....

chillin by the pool and a lite dinner...we spent the major part of our days by the pool...sun bathing and relaxing....Weston swam the whole time..while I enjoyed a couple of really good rum runners...we also just hung out...relaxed in the room and out to dinner for Cuban food....my favorite.

There is something to be said for a vacation where you just relax....I rarely take a vacations that I am not on the go every day....this was wonderful and much needed.

 

we did take in a little site seeing in Tarpon Springs down at the sponge docks....definitely a place for tourist.  Weston manage to spend his money on shells....probably the same shells he could buy on Venice ave....but he had fun picking  just the right shells.  I loved taking some cool photos like this one and the one and the next one. It was nice to get out a little and see something new.

Santa was here....

Santa came early to my house this year....I got this in the mail a couple days ago.

I am so excited I can't stand it. I am almost afraid to touch it...I won't let the girls play with it until I have a chance to really mess with it.  I  also have a 75-300 zoom lens on it's way.  Which will be great for some sports photos of Tori. 

Wanted to wish all of you a Very Merry Christmas and I hope Santa is good to you this year.

Show and Tell Christmas Decorations.....

Thought I would share a few decorations that you can see around my house this holiday season...

This is what I am using to display my Christmas cards from friends and family...this is my favorite new decoration this year.

my Santa collection and a new Christmas jar that I found at the good will and then added snow and a Christmas tree inside.

This is also something new that I made this year.  I bought the frame at the Dollar store and used Christmas pattern paper and glitter chipboard pieces. Then used a Making Memories rubon that says happy holidays.

Got these cute little glitter houses at Target last year.  Also filled a glass bowl with red ornaments and glitter stars from Pottery barn.

This is my Glitter word tree that is in the Family room.  First fake tree I have ever owned.  Of course I have a real tree in the living room.  I am collecting glitter words to keep adding to this tree and fill it up.

I did make several of the words for this tree with chipboard letters and more glitter...can you tell I like glitter.

This little creation was made from a kit that I got from Paper Bella...the same gal that puts on the Silver Bella that I hope to attend next year. Got my flocked reindeer off ebay...I love them.  So vintage and sweet. The pink bottle brush tree is an ornament I got a Target this year.

More Words....I love them they are all over my house....Peace, Believe, Merry Christmas, Peace and Joy....Love them.

and also new to my collection of Glitter Christmas decorations is this adorable snowman and little girl.  Got this off ebay too.

Visits with Santa...a little help from Weston so Joseph will know exactly what to ask for!!!

Weston saw three Santa's this weekend...He wants to make sure Santa knows exactly what he wants. Good thing Santa has a lot of helpers.  We had a birthday party to attend on Friday night at Build a bear and Santa made a special appearance and told some wonderful Christmas Stories.

Managed to get some cute Christmas shots for our cards...finally!

EDIT:  This is for my friend Karen....I thought about this when I posted the photo and should have mentioned...I have three kids....which actually makes up the HO HO HO in my Christmas photos...Should have posted all three photos...but it makes for a good laugh....

and Weston was excited to shop and deliver his gifts for his adopted angel from the salvation army...of course he wanted to pick a child that had things on his list that Weston already owned and did not want any more. I had to explain to him that they would like new toys and clothes like he gets on Christmas day and that we would have fun shopping for for the children.  He finally understood, but then he was disappointed to find out that we drop the gifts off at the mall and that he would not be able to give the gifts to the boys that he had chose.  He was so kind and thoughtful... that just makes a Mom so proud.
