Schools out for summer...

and Golf camp has begun....Weston at his first day of golf camp this summer....

They are already sweating and they havent even started....this is why I hate Florida's humidity...not sure how these campers can stand it...

Soccer season is in full swing in our house...

Not only is Tori playing soccer, which she basically plays year round....but Weston decided he wanted to start playing again too....He had his first game this past Saturday....His team played well and really started to get the hang of it as the game went on.  They did lose 4-6 but Weston had a great time and he is very excited for his next game.  He was also chosen to be captain of the team which made his day...here are some highlight photos from the game...

Soccer weekend...

As most of you know my daughter Tori plays soccer...she as played  since she was six years old....she currently plays with a premiere competitive team that allows her some very cool opportunities...The league she currently playing in competes against teams from Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida.  This involves a ton of travel every weekend for Tori. 

The four teams playing each other this weekend were invited to play at the FSU soccer fields this past weekend...and the head coach for womens soccer at FSU watched their games.  It is an exciting time for these girls as the prepare for college and putting themselves in the right place to be seen by college coaches and recruiter...so this was an awesome opportunity for them all. 

The weekend went well...the girls won one and lost one....We also watched the womens team from FSU beat Virginia Tech 3-1.  After the game they gave us a tour of the sports complex.  Tori really enjoyed that.  The campus and sports complex were amazing.  We got to see the trainers room, the weight room, and the girls locker room...which the weight room and trainers room is shared by all the athletes at FSU.  During the tour we also saw the two Heisman trophies won by Chris Weinke and Charlie ward and the 1993 and 1999 National Championship trophies...I thought that was pretty cool.

Friday Night Lights....

Football season is in full swing in our hometown.  Venice High School football is a big deal where we live.  Everyone...even if you do not have High School kids goes to the Friday Night football games.  My girls look forward to football season....it means 10 weeks of football games every Friday night.  It is a fun time and I love how our community is so supportive of our High School football team.  What makes it even better is the girls have a bunch of friends on the football team...including Tori's boyfriend Tommy.

This past Friday night we played Riverview High School which is a rival team of Venice High.  Great game and we won 21 to 14.  All the players were really excited and pumped up after the game....this brings back so many memories for me from back in the day when I was in High School and how much fun football season was. In high school I never missed a football game.    I remember the support of the community for my High school and I so glad that we live in an area that has that same feeling of hometown support....boy do I love this.

Got Sports?

Seems like this weekend is was all about sports....

Weston had another wrestling tournament...which I was elected to take him (do to the fact that Gary had to be at the soccer fields for the 3v3 tournament) and boy was I glad that I did....Weston finally won his first match.  It was in the second round of the match and Weston was losing 5-9 and he then pinned the boy....I don't think he really even realized he had won until the guy lifted his arm as the winner...and yelled YES!!!!!!.  I was jumping around like a crazy mom and crying...I could not help myself...I was so happy for him.  He said to me "Mom you are crying tears of Joy".  I was so thrilled to be there to see it.

On to Tori....she had a 3v3 soccer tournament this weekend in Venice....Their team was called "Don't Ask"....In true Tori fashion.  In 3v3 you can make up a name for your team.  These girls have played 3v3 together for years....They went undefeated in the tournament to win and move on to Nationals.  I love to watch 3v3...it a very fast and exiting form of soccer.  Tori would tell you she would rather play 3v3 then full field soccer.  Great game of passing and scoring.

First place....they scored 46 goals in 5 games....you read that right....in 3v3 there is a lot of scoring.  in couple games they won 12-0...way to go girls. I am always so proud of Tori's commitment to her sport.

{EDIT:  Tori Scored her second goal of the season in her second game against Riverview High school. It was the winning goal...the won 2-1. It was a sweet goal in the upper corner...so beautiful to see. Can you tell I am a proud mama!!!!}

or as we know it Soccer Season has officially started for Tori.  She had her first Varsity Soccer game last night against Sarasota High.  They won 1-0 and the best part was Tori scored the the goal.  It was so exciting for her play in her first high school game and being a Freshman on the Varsity team. There are only two freshman girls that made the Varsity team, and Tori is one of  them. I am so proud of her.

We were happy she even got released to play due to a sprained ankle that she got a couple of weeks ago.

weekend recap....

Started out Friday night with the first High school football game.  The girls were excited for the game.  We won 41 to 7 and Chelsea was really excited to see her boyfriend play.  Chelsea and her friend made t-shirts with their boyfriends numbers on the back. They were so cute.  Tori was excited because she is actually student there now.

Saturday I spent relaxing and watching my movie. Later that night I went to my Mom's only cocktail party. It was nice to have some girl time and chat. 

Got almost everything done on my to do list...laundry, girls night out, chic flick "Notting Hill" one of my favorites,  grocery shopping and relaxing.  Only thing left is vacuuming.

Disney's Wide World of Sports....

Some photos from the Tournament this past Memorial Weekend...Tori's team took second. 

Tori guest played for the Clearwater Chargers U-14 team.  The team was undefeated going into the Championship game.  We were losing the game 1 to zero with seconds to go. The opposing team got a penalty in the box and we got a PK to tie the game one to one, which put us in overtime.  There was no score in the overtime and we had to go to PK's.  Turns out they scored one more goal then us in the PK's.  Bummer!!! What a game though.  It was excited and the Clearwater Chargers played awesome.

Seize the Day!!!!!

Heading out to Orlando for a quick overnight trip of relaxing with the family.  Spent last night Cropping at K2 Scrapbook Studio at their Black and White Crop( Pictures to follow).  The theme was Black and white.  So of course you had to wear black and white and scrapbook black and white photos or use black and white stuff!!!!  Everytime you did that you got a another ticket for some great raffle give aways.  It was a fun time and I made some new friends and reconnect with already wonderful friends.  I even finished some cool pages that I am really excited about how they came out. I will also share those later...need to get my butt in gear to leave town...have a great 4th of July " long" weekend!!!!

Update:    Worked out four days this past week and have stuck to my points.  I am eating Healthy and I can't wait to weigh in this week at WW...Doing Great!!!
