Miss Amanda wants me to post....so I am posting...LOL!!!! Haven't had much to say the past couple of days.  But I got busy today with my Jenni Bowlin March kit , which I love by the way....This kit I think is my favorite so far, but I aslo say that every month.  They just get better and better.  I am really loving Jenni's own line of products.  Whcih by the way you can get at K2 Scrapbook Studio.  They should have the new stuff from JB in soon.

Happy....

So I made it into double digits...first time ever that I have had 10 comments posted on one blog post.  That makes me happy.

You know what else makes me happy....packages in the mail...

First I received my Jenni Bowlin Jan. 07 kit and all the wonderful ideas she shares each month for inspiration are up.  Check it out here....

Then I received my Cocoa Daisy monthly kit (first time I have bought a kit from them, but I had to) that contained all of Ali Edwards favorite products. And...I love what she did with them and I am so going to scraplift it.

and my welcome packet from Big Picture Scrapbooking arrived for my Library of Memories Class.  It is amazing how excited a girl can get over a clipboard, post it notes(cool ones I might add) and a black journaling pen.

   

I am in total creative mode this week....will share more when I have actually created something...LOL

Blogging....

Things that I have been thinking about lately:

Not sure what is going on lately, but I am sad to see Rhonna Farrar and Cathy Z.  saying good-bye to the blog world.  At least for a while anyway.  I hope no one else on Fav list decide to call it a day on the blog thing.  I know sometimes I pro ably spend to much time on here, but I love seeing what others are up to and being inspired by others.  Also love being able to keep track of what my family is up to which makes a great journal and reference for future scrapbooking. 

Need to get busy with some scrapbooking stuff and stop putting it off...completing two CJ's, Elsie Challenges, Shimelle's Class...You think you know me!!!  Of course I just want to enjoy the process and not just do it cause it needs to be done.  After all this is a hobby that is made to fun and play when you feel like playing.

EDIT:  Got one of Elsie Challenges completed...#4  "Make your own Chipboard Accents" I tried to make a cut out flower and I am still trying to get it to look like something.  I am not giving up. But I did go another route.  Stamped some arrows with my Fontwerk arrow stamp on to the chipboard and then cut them out.  This actually similar to something Nikki did on this layout.  She cover the chipboard arrows with pattern paper.  You can also check Here at Nikki's blog to see Challenge #4 and 5.  I will try to have five completed tomorrow, but here is #4

This layout is of Chelsea after a Venice High Football Game.  One of her friends told her she is now a True Indian and that is what I used as the title.  She is loving being a Venice and keeps really busy with Football games, Clubs, Acting and a whole bunch of new friends.  She is really excited, this week is homecoming and she did the Lip Sync Contest and Powder Puff football game and this weekend is the Homecoming Football game and dance.  Boy that brings back memories of being in High School.  Those sure were the days.

Still trying to get my house back together after leaving to Vegas for a week and my Family let a tornado come through.

I know there is a lot more weighing on my mind lately and this sounds more like a to do list.

   Some where in Italy or France...maybe Tuscany!

   Skirts...fun and trendy..use to be jeans

   Butt....In a good pair of jeans and then the chest with no shirt in a good pair of jeans!

   Can't remember it has been a long time.  Usually download music and burn my own CD

   At home or Traveling and then back home again

   Car line at school!!!

   Shoulders and neck...could use one right now

   MIND...need to work on that body part

   6:00am when school is in...8 or 9 on the weekends

    can't think of a thing....the kitchen is my least favorite place

    Rude people and rude drivers

    Piano, I guess, only cause I took lessons as a kid

    Purple, has to be purple.  It's fun but I have not purple clothing or in my home.  A little bit of eggplant in the bedroom.

    A little SUV, like the BMW
15. Do you believe in after life?    I hope so...Too many things I want to do.My son Weston seems to think so.  He has been talking about it a lot lately

    Can't think of any right now.  Just read Green eggs and ham to Weston

    I am a Floridan so it has to be Winter...love cool weather with no humidity
18. What's your least favorite household chore?
    All of them...OK I will pick one...cleaning...no really I guess I will say the sweeping and mopping and the bathrooms

    Time travel

    Not sure...I am too scared to get one

    Not at all

    My Dad, who is no longer with us and I miss him dearly

    Friday...love getting ready for the weekend and time off from routines

    I have a SUV and I am sure it is a bunch of kids junk

    In and Out Burger, if not maybe  a California roll.. depends on my mood.

Addicted to Blogging!!!

A year ago I didn't even know what a blog was.  Thanks to Donna Downey  I found a whole new world.  Now I can't live with out it.  I check it first thing in the morning and have to force myself to stay away during the day when I have down time.  The one thing I love about it is the people I have connected with even though they may not know who I am....I can't  wait to see what inspiration and interesting things are going on in their lives.  I have even managed to make new friends in Australia, which I hope some day I will get to meet (yes, I am talking to you Lee).

As I read through my list of favorite blogs today I tired to take away something interesting and fun.  Never fails, I learn something new and I usually find out where to buy something really cool that I would have never known about.  I thought about all the fun things I have gotten from this thing called a blog.. After all it is all about me, right???

Blog list:

1.I will start with Donna since she started me with this whole blog thing.  She always tells you about some cool product you have to have and today was no exception.  Had to run out to Michaels and pick up this mini albums.  I bought a ton so I could share some as gifts. Best part was they were only $1.00

2.  If you do anything you have to read Cath Zielske's blog.  This woman is amazing when it comes to her post. 

3.  Karen Russell made me realize that I am not the only women that start out with good intentions each day and feels beat down by the end of the day.  I also have to thank her for putting together the Internaionl women to women fund raiser,  that  raised over $12,000.  I was lucky enough to win a layout done by Pam Kopka.  Which ended up being a beautiful made home decor frame with beautiful photos of my kids.  And I won that just for a simple donation to a great cause.

4.  I would have never come along Jennie Bowlin's monthy kit club which is one of the best out there and has wonderful inspiration each month. Can't wait for my kit to come each month and it feels like forever before she post the monthly inspiration with a guest deaigner.  But it is worth the wait.

5. OK, I have to mention my friends in Australia....Lee,  and Kim Archer.  There are a few more that I have to check there blog every day, but Lee as been one that has always posted on my blog and it makes my day.  Now for Kim,  She does some amazing on line classes that I have had the pleasure of taking,  even if  it ment getting up at 5am because of the time difference.

6. I want to thank my gal pal at K2, Karen, who reads my blog often and keeps me up to date on my LSS store which by the way is her Store. She like me is addicted to this blog thing. 

7.  Being that scrapbooking is my passion this blog has connected me with many people in the industry that I haven't even mentioned but inspire me everyday. It is wonderful to know the latest and greatest and I hope one day to meet many of my fellow bloggers and scrapbookers.

8.  I almost forgot my blog friend Robyn, who puts some great challenges on her blog...and everyone knows I love scrapbook challenges.

Well that is just a few of the reasons I love this blog thing and can't get enough.  I may be crazy, but I love it. 

Off to bed now...cause tomorrow I get to take a class with the wonderful Margie from Making Memories at K2.  The best part is my 15 year old daughter is taking the class with me.

somthing fun for a change...I have finished all my things on the to do list...It feels good and my house looks great. Now I just need to keep up with it.

Quick post...

before I have to leave to see Chelsea sing with the Chours tonight...Here is my challenge for this week from Robyn and Amy...three products, stripes,metal,a and stamps...I am having fun with these challenges.

Starting over

Forgot to post yesterday...so that means I skipped a picture a day. Since today is the first of Sept.  I will try again and start posting a picture a day, today. 

My daughter Chelsea, 14 years old.  She always taking self portiats of herself and I love the photographs that she comes up with.  This photo really captures her beautiful eyes.

Have been busy with organizing my scrap room and trying to get things done in the family room, which is now painted and tomorrow will have new carpet.  Can't wait until it is done. Then I have to move on to finishing Chelsea's room and the scrap room...What will be next????
